Dr. Mrigna Nagraj

Dr. Mrigna Nagraj was once part of the medical team for the Commonwealth Games 2010. Her first-hand experience caring for her grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, instilled in her a deep passion and empathy for the elderly — a turning point that shaped the course of her life.
This journey began when she started living with her grandmother and realized that families were often not equipped to provide adequate care for individuals with dementia. She recognized this as an important and largely unaddressed healthcare gap in India — one that she felt strongly motivated to address.

Providing direct care for her grandmother, who continues to live with dementia, gave Dr. Nagraj invaluable insight into the needs, concerns, and challenges faced by elderly individuals and their families. Over time, she observed many older adults experiencing loneliness and isolation, especially parents of children living abroad. Often, what they needed most was companionship, engagement, and basic support in monitoring their health, while families struggled to understand how best to provide that support.

For the past four years, Dr. Nagraj has been actively working in the elder care industry and has built a strong reputation for her compassionate approach and dedication to improving the quality of life for older adults.

She is also a Master Trainer who helps individuals learn English and other languages such as Spanish, especially supporting learners with learning disabilities or medical conditions, through personalized teaching methods. Her programs are designed for learners of all ages, from children to adults, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
